What you actually will be doing

The US Commercial Specialist is a key commercial role reporting directly to the CEO/CCO. You are responsible for selling the product, driving adoption, utilisation, and revenue growth of BoneMRI across hospitals and imaging centres in Europe.

You combine commercial execution with your clinical knowledge — working directly with radiologists, spine surgeons, OR staff, and hospital administrators. You are a self-starter who creates measurable value for both customers and the organisation, and a true collaborator who builds meaningful relationships across clinical and commercial stakeholders.

Your responsibilities

Commercial Development

  • Proactively targeting potential clients, making conversation with potential leads on conferences and other social gatherings.
  • Own US account base and prospect pipeline, driving BoneMRI adoption from lead generation through to signed contract and sustained growth.
  • Identify and map key stakeholders within target US hospitals and imaging centres in our US focus markets; maintain accurate records in the CRM.
  • Build commercial proposals and manage the full sales cycle – quotation, negotiation, and closing – in close collaboration with US distribution partners.
  • Connect and build a relationship with prospects by delivering product demonstrations for key stakeholders in the hospitals, both online and offline.
  • Grow existing accounts by increasing scan volumes through clinical engagement, workflow optimisation, and usage reviews, with a focus on consistent utilisation within the first 90 days post-installation.

Strategy & Market Intelligence

  • Act as the voice of the customer — surfacing insights to support evidence generation, real-world data initiatives, and commercial strategy.
  • Support reimbursement efforts by linking clinical outcomes to economic impact and workflow efficiency.
  • Represent MRIguidance at international conferences, hospital training events, and clinical demonstrations.
  • Adhere to the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all applicable company policies and compliance standards.
  • Over time, develop deep technical knowledge of BoneMRI, radiology, spine workflows, and hospital processes.
Qualifications

Minimum

  • Master’s in a health-related field (e.g., Biomedical Engineering, Movement sciences, Medicine, Medical imaging, AI,  Radiography) or Business; advanced degree a plus.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a MedTech commercial role or clinical support.
  • Go-getting, sales-hunting personality, chasing the lead and following up on deal-processes
  • Understanding sales flows from lead to client and CRM administration.
  • Knowledge of the operating room and/or radiology department workflows.
  • A track record of exceeding expectations — not just meeting them.
  • Strong ability to collaborate and influence across clinical and administrative levels.
  • Excellent English communication skills; additional European languages are a strong plus.
  • Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands, at least for the first 1-2 years.
  • Able to travel to the USA on a regular basis.

Preferred

  • Knowledge in one or more of the following areas: Spine, Orthopedics, Radiology, or Neurosurgery, Surgical- navigation, -robotics, or imaging software.
  • Familiarity with hospital procurement and contracting processes.
  • Knowledge of Saas sales or AI in Medicine
  • Being fluent in German is nice.
  • Eligible for a Dutch work visa (or EU/EEA citizen)

This role is for you if…

You are a US MedTech professional who is passionate about your work and excited by the idea of building a new life in the Netherlands. You want to stay close to the US market you know well, while being part of a dynamic international team in one of the Netherlands’ most beautiful cities. Our offer
  • Full-time position
  • Competitive base salary
  • Holiday (8%) and employers’ pension contribution (9%)
  • Stock Appreciation Rights (SAR) after one year
  • Direct visibility to the CEO/CCO and a clear path to grow
  • Support visa application for the Netherlands in case of relocation from the USA
  • The chance to join a mission-driven MedTech scale-up at a pivotal stage
  • Work that directly improves patient outcomes by eliminating unnecessary radiation

  • A beautiful office at the Maliesingel in Utrecht
About MRIguidance

At MRIguidance, we are pioneering radiation-free bone imaging. Our product, BoneMRI, is an AI-powered software solution (SaMD) that generates 3D CT-like bone images from standard MRI scans — eliminating harmful radiation while improving diagnostic and surgical workflows. BoneMRI is CE and FDA cleared, reimbursed in the USA, and in active clinical use across more than 10 countries.

We are a mission-driven team headquartered in Utrecht, the Netherlands, united by one goal: impacting patient lives with radiation-free imaging.

Our values

In a growing company, your personal development is encouraged, ensuring that your skills and capabilities evolve alongside the company’s needs. We believe in the power of a collaborative and open-minded team, driven to innovate in medical imaging and deliver a trustworthy product. As a team of caring professionals, we support each other, bring out the best in one another, and work together to impact lives with radiation-free imaging.

We believe diversity is beneficial for the creativity and the good atmosphere of our company. However, Dutch regulation makes it very complicated for small companies to process a work visa for people from outside the EU. Therefore, all people are welcome to apply, as long as we do not have to arrange a work visa.
