Roel Kellenaers to drive the company’s next phase of commercial growth
Utrecht, January 23, 2025 – MRIguidance is pleased to announce that Roel Kellenaers has officially assumed the position of CEO, succeeding Peter Seevinck, who has been serving in an interim capacity since early 2022. Peter will continue to play a pivotal role within the company as Chief Scientific Officer, focusing on clinical trials and validation, scientific and product innovation, and intellectual property management.
I am delighted that Roel is taking over as CEO, leading us toward commercial success. After a few challenging years with significant setbacks, Roel has been instrumental in shaping a commercial strategy over the past year that is already delivering results. For the last 14 months, Roel has been part of the team as Chief Commercial Officer , defining and executing the company’s go-to-market strategy with a strong focus on the commercialization of BoneMRI in the United States. His abilities, knowledge, and strong connections with the team made it easy for the Board of Directors to positively conclude on his fit for the CEO position.
Roel brings to MRIguidance over 30 years of experience in marketing, sales, strategy, and business development across leading Life Sciences companies. He successfully managed a wide range of life sciences and healthcare products, including pharmaceuticals, medical technology, hospital care, home care, in vitro diagnostics (IVD), and software as a medical device (SaMD).
BoneMRI is a product that perfectly aligns with Roel’s passion for driving growth through the development and launch of patient-centric solutions aimed at transforming healthcare. He will lead the company through the challenging process of expanding this innovative healthcare technology across European and North American markets.
