Paving the Way for BoneMRI’s Accelerated Growth
Utrecht, February, 2026 — After successfully guiding MRIguidance through a pivotal phase of commercial growth, Roel Kellenaers will step aside as CEO, passing the reins to Guido Zijl.
During his tenure, Roel achieved key milestones that expanded the reach of BoneMRI in Europe and North America. Together with the entire team he established a reimbursement pathway for BoneMRI, increasing access for patients and providers in the US, and onboarded prestigious hospitals and imaging centers, integrating BoneMRI into daily clinical workflows.
Under his leadership, internal processes and commercialization efforts were strengthened, and the BoneMRI trademark was secured across Europe, the UK, and the US. Roel’s achievements have laid a strong foundation for the next chapter of growth under Guido Zijl’s leadership.
Mr. Guido Zijl brings over 20 years of leadership experience in the medical device industry in operational and commercial roles. He most recently served as Vice President at Globus Medical.
