Utrecht, February 6, 2025 — New features have been incorporated into the latest version of BoneMRI, the world’s only AI-enabled software that provides radiation-free, CT-like images through MRI scans for all spine and pelvic anatomies, with sub-millimeter quantitative equivalence to CT scans, for both adults and adolescents.
The latest features incorporated in BoneMRI:

The updates are available to all BoneMRI users and include:
- CT DICOM compatibility: BoneMRI can now generate an axial reformat, packaged as a CT DICOM, enabling seamless integration into any CT-based workflow.
- Orthogonal and oblique reformats: View sagittal, axial, or coronal planes to obtain all the necessary information for patients. Additionally, you can rotate the scan by ±45° to enhance visualization of the intervertebral foramen and nerve roots.
- Faster image acquisition: The sequence supports accelerated scanning while maintaining image quality, reducing scan time to less than four minutes.
- Secure, PHI-free processing: In the cloud, all data is completely de-identified and free of any Protected Health Information (PHI).
With these advancements, radiation-free CT-based surgical workflows are enabled, scan times are reduced, and more information is obtained, adding value to institutions and improving patient care.
